Gizmodo has two blurbs about the new Speedo LZR Racer suit. The first discusses an underwater camera rig used at the European Swimming Championships capturing some remarkable images. The second is how FINA is concerned about how well the new suit is working.

The weekend of Oct. 27th and 28th The YMCA Aquatic Center is hosting a SCM Masters swim meet. The meet information sheet and entry form can be found at www.floridalmsc.org and dixiezone.orgThis meet is sanctioned so you need to be registered with USMS in order to swim. Entry forms must be received by Friday, October 19th.



Swimmers are invited to swim both meets and/or swim Sat. at Rollins and Sun at the Aquatic Center! Please see Rollins Meet info for more information and contact Cathy Shonkwiler to sign up.

Our annual Rollins College vs The Masters is on Sat. Oct. 27th. As always this is a high school format swim meet. Our warm up begins at 12 noon and the meet begins at 1pm. Please email Cathy Shonkwiler at cswimming |at| aol |.| com to let me know what you would like to swim. Cathy will also have a sign up sheet posted at the Aquatic Center. You can swim 3 events including relays. The women's events precede the men's. The order of events are as follows:

I also think the info is on Lucky's Lake swim web site (event info). Each swimmer will swim approx 1.2 miles. Yuko is swimming it by herself!
